I got plastered on Friday and lucky on Saturday!!

Sorry it's taken me so long to write... I was going to write last night, but got home really late. Ha!

So I got plastered on Friday!!! Well, my leg did anyways... They came and took a mold of my leg for a prosthetic!! Yay! My doctor cleared me to start standing. Because my wound is concave (it goes in) I can get fitted. I'm so excited! I've been waiting "patiently" for months! Just for clarification, I do know what plastered means (I went to college), but I thought it was funny when the prosthetist said to me. Haha!

I also took one of my youth to a movie on Friday. We saw Jack the Giant Slayer. I loved it!!! I thought it stuck with the story pretty well once the end tied it all together. It also, of course, had a love story intertwined in the plot. Great movie!

On Saturday Mom and I went to a food park to try some cupcakes from a food truck. It's called Red Jett Sweets and they were delicious!!! We tried the Nuts for Kentucky one, Chocolate Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, and Snickerdoodle- yum yum YUM!!! We all three tried each one. My favorite was the strawberry (surprisingly enough). When I got home I got in the house all by myself, up the ramps, for the first time!!

After that I LOADED MYSELF IN THE CAR, drove to my sister's house, and UNLOADED MYSELF FROM THE CAR!!! Woot! Another first!! I even made it in we house without too much trouble. Yay! We went to a St. Patty's Day Luck of the Irish celebration (this is the "lucky" part of the title) and had a blast with my friends! I don't get to see them near enough. There was an authentic (read:kilted) bag pipe player and everything! I even used a handicapped port-a-potty. Haha! We got great parking, of course. I had SO much fun!!!

And that's life...
